Birthdays

Our time started from our birth.
And our time will end by death.
We grow up ,grow strong , grow old, grow weak. Hopelessly enveloped in the chains of godless time.
I realised something today (after attending a close friend's birthday party), that we could all have forgotten/or rather lost track of passing time whilst pursuing certain goals within our life. Without any pre-warnings, we're all transcending into adulthood.
Each of us, settled amidst our lives have accepted this fact, without complaints nor awareness to all the days we've misused the vessels we call our body, to all the days we've let our emotions erupt against others, days we've loosened our thinking towards external influence or vice versa and also to the ever-increasing number of days which we start sharing and dwelling on our past memories.
Yes. We're ageing. Getting older every second brings us the experience and bonds in which we'll (in time) come to cherish and link to the happiness within our hearts. Its probably all still good. Because the evils of ill health and impaired bodily functions have not set in yet. It is but a matter of time; so if life is about all these happiness put together, i'd like to rally everyone to such a thought - Preserving our 'able-bodied lifespan' to its fullest will increase the total happiness we can harness through life, but would you prolong the life of someone terminally ill to lengthen their suffering? Is that happiness to oneself, or rather just preventing happiness to the victim?
I guess the answer would depend on each party's views regarding the value of life and death.
The timeless void records all for as long as blogger matters. It is afterall still chained to time, with the exception of being less restrained by it. After all, it wouldn't rot nor shine like we do.
